"Endless OS 3.6.0 was released for existing users on June 10th, 2019. Endless OS is based on the GNOME desktop environment, the Debian GNU/Linux distribution and the Linux kernel. In this release, we have updated the base OS packages to the latest versions from Debian 'Buster' (the forthcoming stable release), most desktop components to the versions from GNOME 3.32, and Linux kernel 5.0. This brings new features, performance improvements, hardware support and bug fixes. Endless OS 3.6 includes Podman 9, a command-line tool which is broadly compatible with the Docker 2 command-line interface."

The distribution has published a new update, Kali Linux 2019.2, which includes updated tools and changes to the project's ARM builds: "Welcome to our second release of 2019, Kali Linux 2019.2, which is available for immediate download. This release brings our kernel up to version 4.19.28, fixes numerous bugs, includes many updated packages, and most excitingly, features a new release of Kali Linux NetHunter. Tool updates - this release largely features various tweaks and bug fixes but there are still many updated tools including seclists, msfpc and exe2hex. For the complete list of updates, fixes and additions, please refer to the Kali bug tracker changelog. ARM updates - for our ARM users, be aware that the first boot will take a bit longer than usual, as it is requires the reinstallation of a few packages on the hardware. This manifests as the login manager crashing a few times until the packages finish reinstalling and is expected behaviour."

"Like its cousin, the Debian-based edition, Netrunner 'Rolling' also ships a dark look and feel theme, including the Kvantum theme engine. Using the Kvantum theme engine plus the Alpha-Black Plasma theme allowed us to create a more 3D-looking design. Moving the mouse into the lower right corner now visibly activates 'Minimize all Windows' to show desktop function by a light glow. For those who prefer the classic look, going back to the well-known LNF is a three-button click and is explained under Tips in our current Readme section. "New 201902 ISO images have been released. These are some of the highlights: the live installer will update itself when starting, it should show its update progress but sometimes it takes a while before it shows, the live installer now supports F2FS and NILFS2 file systems for flash drives; partition encryption during installation has been improved; we have changed the SolydXK Firefox settings even further to improve user privacy and also to comply with Mozilla's distribution policies - this is done in the firefox-solydxk-adjustments package which can be purged if you don't need it; Waterfox is now packaged and distributed by the SolydXK repository; several new features have been added and many bugs have been solved in our SolydXK applications."
