pfsense-ce-2.4.5-release-amd64.iso.gz |
Описание: |
pfSense is a free, open source customized distribution of
FreeBSD specifically tailored for use as a firewall and
router that is entirely managed via web interface. The
project's latest release upgrades the base operating system,
adds improvements to the web interface and disables access
time writes by default to improve disk performance. "2.4.5
adds several new features, including: OS Upgrade: Base
Operating System upgraded to FreeBSD 11-STABLE after FreeBSD
11.3. Added sorting and search/filtering to several pages
including the Certificate Manager, DHCP Leases, and ARP/NDP
Tables. Added DNS Resolver (Unbound) Python Integration.
Added IPsec DH and PFS groups 25, 26, 27, and 31. Changed
UFS filesystem defaults to noatime on new installations to
reduce unnecessary disk writes. Set
autocomplete=new-password for forms containing
authentication fields to help prevent browser auto-fill from
completing irrelevant fields. Added new Dynamic DNS
providers Linode and Gandi." |

dfly-x86_64-5.8.0_rel.iso |
Описание: |
The DragonFly BSD team has published a new release, version
5.8.0 of the server-oriented operating system. The new
version makes it easier for users to compile their own
repository of binary packages from ports, addresses some
glitches in low-memory situations and improves video driver
support. "Big-ticket items: dsynth(1) written and added to
base, making it more convenient for users to build their own
binary repos for DPorts(7). dsynth is used to build some or
all of the DPorts collection, over 25000 third-party
packages. It's also working as an informal performance
measure, with many of the changes in this release to speed
up DragonFly when building multiple dependent packages. Many
ports these days seem to assume a greater degree of signal
safety for libc function, particularly for malloc(). We have
implemented a low-overhead signal masking feature that now
allows us to make malloc*() and other related functions
signal-safe. A ton of bug fixes, stability work, and
usability work has gone into this release. Many niggling
little annoyances, such as Chrome/Chromium stuttering when
system memory is low, have been fixed. DRM (GPU) support
continues to improve slowly but steadily. Significantly
improved paging algorithms reduces or eliminates UI/browser
glitches in low-memory situations." |

"Sixth months after the start of the release engineering
process, NetBSD 9.0 is now available. Since the start of the
release process a lot of improvements went into the branch -
over 700 pullups were processed! This includes usbnet (a
common framework for USB Ethernet drivers), aarch64
stability enhancements and lots of new hardware support,
installer/sysinst fixes and changes to the NVMM (hardware
virtualization) interface. We hope this will lead to the
best NetBSD release ever (only to be topped by NetBSD 10 -
hopefully later this year). Here are a few highlights of the
new release: Support for Arm AArch64 (64-bit Armv8-A)
machines, including "Arm ServerReady" compliant machines
(SBBR+SBSA). Enhanced hardware support for Armv7-A. Updated
GPU drivers (e.g. support for Intel Kabylake). Enhanced
virtualization support." |

Описание: |
Matt Housh has announced the release of CRUX 3.5, a new
stable version of the project's lightweight, x86-64
optimised Linux distribution featuring a simple tar.gz-based
package system, BSD-style init scripts, and a small
collection of trimmed packages: "The CRUX team is happy to
announce the release of CRUX 3.5. Notable changes include
glibc 2.28, GCC 8.3.0 and Binutils 2.32. CRUX 3.5 now also
ships with PAM - we've made it as transparent as possible
and it will be a good stepping stone for users wanting
2-factor authentication and other fun stuff. Breaking
changes include the move of dbus configuration from /usr/etc
to /etc, so backup your configurations before updating.
Another potential headache may be various projects' move
from autotools to newer build systems - glib may cause some
problems here and dependent ports will need to be rebuilt.
The ISO image is processed with isohybrid and is suitable
for burning on a CD and putting on a USB drive. UEFI support
is available during installation with dosfstools, efibootmgr
and grub2-efi added to the ISO image." |

The new release brings a completely redesigned web
interface, among many other changes: "FreeNAS 11.2-RELEASE
introduces a ton of new features, including a major revamp
of the web interface, support for self-encrypting drives,
and new, backwards-compatible REST and WebSocket APIs. This
update also introduces iocage for improved Plugin and Jail
management and simplified Plugin development. FreeNAS 11.2
introduces an updated web interface. Based on Angular and
Javascript, the web interface has been modernized to be more
user-friendly, snappier and aesthetically pleasing. The
redundant top bar has been removed and most FreeNAS
configuration menus can be accessed by clicking the
appropriate item in the left column. The new design
streamlines the layout with cleaner dropdown menus, while
maintaining the same functionality and workflow you |
