"Linux Lite 4.4 RC1 is now available for testing. Yes, that's right, RC1. We have moved off the beta build model to RC releases as these more accurately reflect the build quality of our pre-final images. Linux Lite 4.4 final will be released on 1st April, 2019 New Zealand time. The RC releases build number is the date of the actual ISO image build, e.g. build 24022019 - 24th February 2019. The RC information and build number will only appear on the default wallpaper for that release, Login screen and the Live Boot screen. The positioning of the text is such that it allows room for desktop widgets like Conky and Lite Widget to appear uncluttered on the right. Finals will not have any build information on the default wallpaper. Updated the Papirus icon theme to the latest release. Sound Juicer CD ripper has now been added to Lite Software. To get rip-to-mp3 support, Sound Juicer will also install the Restricted Extras package."

"Our first release in 2019 is OpenMandriva Lx 4.0 Beta, a close preview of the upcoming final release. Since Alpha1, OMLx 4.0 got a huge number of fixes and improvements. You may already be aware of some of them having read OpenMandriva Lx 4.0 Alpha1 follow-up, some more came afterwards. Live mode: ISO menu new entries for language and keyboard preference. Upon user's request, KPatience card games have been included in ISO (live mode only). Calamares new features: Easy swap partition option; Calamares log copied to successfully installed system; Automagically removing all unused languages at the end of installation; Calamares now checks whether system is installed in VirtualBox or in real hardware. If in real hardware it removes unneeded VirtualBox packages."

GhostBSD 18.12 is an updated ISO image of GhostBSD 18.10 with some little changes to the live DVD/USB and with updated packages. What has changed since 18.10: removed default call of kernel modules for AMD and Intel processors; replaced Octopkg by Software Station; added back gop hacks to the live system; added ghostbsd-drivers and ghostbsd-utils; we updated the packages to the latest builds.

Calculate Linux 18.12 released. We have a bunch of news for this final 2018 release. We have added support for installation on Btrfs with zstd compression. All server editions have been optimized for size. Software can now be transferred when re-installing the system. Our ISO images are packed in the zstd format to speed up the start-up times for the live image, applications and system installation. Software: 32-bit and 64-bit builds moved to Linux kernel 4.19.9, KDE Applications updated to 18.08.3, KDE Plasma updated to 5.14.3, Cinnamon updated to 4.0.3. We also released a new Calculate flavour for educational purposes (Calculate Linux Desktop Xfce Education, or CLDXE for short).
