SparkyLinux is a lightweight, Debian-based distribution featuring a range of editions, most of them providing pre-configured desktop environments. The project's latest Stable release is SparkyLinux 7.2 which is based on Debian 12 "Bookworm". "Sparky 7.2 “Orion Belt” is out. It is a quarterly updated point release of Sparky 7 'Orion Belt' of the stable line. Sparky 7 is based on and fully compatible with Debian 12 'Bookworm'. Relianoid is a Debian-based, load balancing operating system. The project has published a new release, Relianoid 7.0, which is based on Debian 12 "Bookworm", and includes OpenSSL 3. "This release provides a huge step in regards of big upgrade of the Operating System as it is based on Debian Bookworm 12.2 with Linux Kernel 6.1 which is very significant in regards to bootup speed and drivers improvements for a better system resource usage. Linux Mint 6 "LMDE"

The Linux Mint team have announced the launch of a new version of the project's Debian-based branch. The new version 6 (codename "Faye") of Linux Mint Debian Edition offers most of the same technology as Linux Mint's main, Ubuntu-based branch, but using Debian Stable as the core operating system. "LMDE is a Linux Mint project which stands for 'Linux Mint Debian Edition'. Its goal is to ensure Linux Mint would be able to continue to deliver the same user experience, and how much work would be involved, if Ubuntu was ever to disappear. LMDE is also one of our development targets, to guarantee the software we develop is compatible outside of Ubuntu. LMDE aims to be as similar as possible to Linux Mint, but without using Ubuntu. The package base is provided by Debian instead."
