"Testing" branch. The new release updates the Linux kernel to version 6.0.12: "We are proud to introduce the latest version of Parrot. Parrot 5.2 includes several new features and improvements made since version 5.1; these mostly include security and stability updates. What's new: the Calamares installer has received several important updates to fix common installation issues; the Linux kernel has been updated to version 6.0; several security updates have been included to fix important bugs to Firefox, Chromium, sudo, dbus, nginx, libssl, OpenJDK and X.Org; Anonsurf, our popular anonymity tool, now includes better support to TOR bridges; wireless drivers for several Broadcom and Realtek cards not supported by Debian received a major upgrade to include support for the 6.x Linux kernel, along with VirtualBox and NVIDIA drivers...."

Endless OS 5.0.0

The new version introduces a refreshed desktop experience, multiple workspaces and an all-new app centre. Users of Endless OS 4 will need to upgrade to version 4.0.14 before they can upgrade to version 5.0.0. Endless OS 5.0.0 is out. Endless OS 5 continues to be the app-centric operating system you’ve come to know and love, but the experience has been refreshed based on user testing and feedback. At a glance, you’ll notice the grid of apps and search are largely the same, while the taskbar a the bottom of the screen in Endless OS 4 has been split into two more purposeful elements in Endless OS 5 - the bottom dash for your favorite and running apps at the bottom of the screen, and the top panel with more information and system status at the top of the screen."

Enhancements and changes from 3.0.1-8: the underlying GNU/Linux operating system has been upgraded - this release is based on the Debian 'Sid' repository as of 2022-11-03; Linux kernel has been updated to 6.0.6; the de_DE, el_GR.UTF-8, es_ES, fr_FR, ja_JP, pl_PL, sk_SK and tr_TR language files have been updated; show options '-k0' and '-k1' in the restoring action for beginner mode in ocs-onthefly; include the ufw package in live system; disable the glances service in live system; add the '-sfs' option in the dialog menu - the corresponding language files have been updated too. Bug fix: /etc/default/espeakup has changed its variable, so modify default_voice instead of VOICE."
